 New Works by
Duy Huynh

OPENING RECEPTION Saturday, February 10th, 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

EXHIBITION runs February 10th - March 25, 2007

Art & Invention Gallery is excited to kickoff its 2007 season with a show devoted to the paintings of internationally recognized artist, Duy Huynh.

Viewing a painting by Duy Huynh (pronounced YEE WUN) is like stepping into a dream. But instead of being confusing and disjointed, as many dreams can be, these paintings tell a story... and the story is different for each person who views his work.

It is as if Huynh is able to dip into the collective unconscious where our dreams are born, and emerge with images that everyone can respond to in their own personal way. Instead of being separate from Huynh's created realities, the viewer is invited to step in and be part of the journey.

Using a rich, yet colorful palette, Duy Huynh builds layers of light and dark hues to create his soft, glowing images. He often uses tiles or wood as his canvas to create another subtle layer of texture to his work.

We invite you to see, feel, and experience the art of Duy Huynh.
